Just a small note to remember Michael and all of the many loved ones who we lost on that day. When I looked out my back door this morn. and saw that blue sky with no clouds, it all came back. For me things have never felt the same in our country and even in our society. There seems to be more anger in people and no trust anywhere. I pray as time goes on we can heal ourselves and the younger generations can live in peace. I pray to the lost loved ones to help us know peace. They were called to make that ultimate sacrifice and we will always honor them for that. Love to all. Rose, Tom & Sean

Dear Lynch Family,
Remembering Michael and his giving the ultimate sacrifice of life to help people on that horrific day.
To his parents, the sadness you feel is overwhelming at times I'm sure. The loss of a child is something you can never ever get over, just live with.
To his brothers and sisters, I too have lost a brother who I was so very close to. The hole in my heart will never close. He died ten years ago today but I miss him more than ever.
To Stephanie - to lose your soulmate in this way has to be the worst. I mourn with you today.
I will never ever forget Michael, his firefighter brothers, policeman and all the others who died today. It is as fresh a tragedy to me today as it was four years ago.
Always in my thoughts.
God be with you.
Hugs,
Susan

I am a Police Officer in the Surrey Police, i am at home as i type this watching a programe on tv "9/11 The Firefighters Story". Seeing Michaels father speak on this progamme compelled me to find out more.
My heart breaks at this time of year as the anniversary of that terrible day draws nearer. I just wanted to say that i will never forget that day and the bravery shown by people like Michael his fellow firefighters and all his brother and sisters in the other emergency services. When i light my candle this year i will say a prayer for Michael. God bless and thank you for allowing me to sign your guest book.

Dear Lynch family:
What a sweet tribute to your Michael. Thank you for sharing his memory. I became a firefighter/EMT two years ago after nearly 20 years as a journalist. It was the selflessness of 9/11 that inspired me to pursue my dream, even at age 45. I read Halberstam's book that features Michael right after graduating from the academy. His life continues to inspire me, and I keep his epitaph on my locker.

after the events in london yesterday it brought me back once again to 9.11.i have looked up websites related to this every now and again but happened across yours by chance.having seen so many things and read so many stories over the past 4 years i was never affected as i was when i saw your pictures and read your pieces.looking at your photos was like looking at my own family album, weddings, christings & graduations are major event shared, but never do you think that at the next one someone so young and full of life will be missing.i want to let you all know that your son, brother, fiance made an impact on someone so far away.

On this 4th of July, I stop and remember all who have given their lives for our freedom. I am so sad that you lost your son and brother but believe you will meet him again in heaven. I have spent a lot of time thinking of the firefighters who lost their lives on that terrible day in September. I will NEVER EVER forget them.
Hugs and God Bless the Lynch Family,
