Dear Michael, An other year over our head since the tragedy of your loss. The pain is not less... During Christmas time I have prayed (more if it's possible!) for you, and specially for your family and parents. I have never met you but you are the symbol of all theses lifes broken, and you are now my confident in heaven. My beloved husband Louis is protecting me since 13 years, so , please protect Stephanie, your parents, brothers and sisters and all your family. I am sure you do it ! I love you Michael.

I came across this website accidently when I got an email w/ a slideshow of the Twin Towers, We shall never forget. looking at the photos, tears come to my eyes. I know your brother is a hero, and watching over you, but my heart aches for your loss. Each person lost was someone's sister, brother, mother. Your web site gives life to Michael even though he is gone now; you have honored his memory in a special way; God bless you especially now at Christmas.

On your birthday, Caroline, Tara and Betsy Hughes and I braved some pretty nasty Buffalo weather to put a wreath on your tree at the Amherst Memorial. We sang Happy Birthday to you. Through our tears, and while we imagined what it must be like to have a birthday in heaven, we kept coming back to your smiling face in your FDNY picture. We felt you were letting us know you are at peace. We love you!

Happy Birthday Michael. Wish you here to visit us in Danmark. The kids are getting big and it breaks my heart that they won't get to know their cool Uncle Mike like the rest of us got to know you. Of course you will always be in their hearts - they ask of you often and make me tell stories about you (of course you know this as I am sure you are listening in). I have to wait til they are old enough before I can share the video from South Carolina to see how Funny their Uncle Michael is - They are learning Danish now but I'd rather they wait till they are teens before they learn "Bronx".
Miss you a ton! Jeg elsker du.
Your brother

Hi everybody - Ruth's sister here. Can't remember if I wrote to say we had a beautiful 24 hr. honor guard at the flag at our high school on 9/11. Also please pray for the family of Wesley Wells, a Libertyville High graduate, recently killed in Iraq. Thinking of you and sending our love. Peggy

Dear Michael,
Thinking of you today as I am everyday. We all miss you so much and as the holidays approach my heart seems heavier. Be close to us starting today through the holidays that we might find joy in the season through our immense grief.
Your lil sister, Colleen
