Mike, just wanted to check in and say Hi. It still hasn't sunk in that it's over two years. Well, Happy St. Paddy's Day and have a pint for me. Mal

Michael, we miss you so much. My thoughts are with you always. Though I know you probably know this--Aidan has his first tooth!!! It showed its edges just yesterday. He is a wonderful baby! He loves to be tickled and laughs often! He finds so much humor in life--just like his Uncle Michael. We are so blessed, Jason and I to have such wonderful children! It warms my heart to know that you knew Aidan before he ever arrived. I am so happy that he is such a happy spirit and I find comfort in knowing that you indeed helped him with that as you guided his spirit when he was given to us. We credit you with his lovely joy for life as I know that you held him in your arms before he made his decent to us on earth. You always gave from the heart and I know that we received it in the birth of our youngest son. I miss you big brother, every minute of every day. Until we meet again, all my love. Your lil sister, Colleen

Hey Mike !! It's funny but I feel like I'm really talking right to you and maybe you can hear me. I miss you and that big smile of yours and your friendly demeanor. What a great friend you were to so many....so many miss you...I think the Lord knew what a big heart you had and He couldn't wait anymore. He wanted you up there with Him....Those hearts are hard to find....Even with your passing, you left so much goodness behind. I think of you often and you're helping me to do better with my life. Thank you my friend....can't wait to see you again....Love, Rich

Jack and Kathleen,
Another year slips by and we get farther away from that horrible day. But rest assured that Michael's sacrifice will never be forgotten. He holds a place of honor in home and in our hearts. Your friends at the Lake Grapevine Runners and Walkers club send their love.
Love You!!!

I never had the honor of meeting Michael, but he was part of a fire house that will always be a part of my life.
I am a lifelong fire buff, and grew up around the corner from Eng. 62 and Ladder 32. I spent all of my free time there, and took in my first "run" at the tender age of eight, riding in the officers seat of Michaels company to be, Ladder 32. My father died suddenly when I was 10. Fortunately for me, I had 25 surrogate dads who watched over me, the officers and men of 62/32. Later in life I served as an auxiliary firefighter and auxiliary Lt. with Eng. 62.
On 9/11, as I scanned the lists of those missing, I was initially relieved to see nobody listed from 62/32. How stunned and sad I was to learn later that Michael was actually assigned to the house I still consider my own, even though time and distance now separates me from The Bronx.
I have always been proud of my association with the fire service in general and FDNY in particular, and know how proud you must have been to have someone serving in New York's Bravest.
It has been my honor to be able to donate to the foundation, and sincerely hope to be able to attend this year's awards dinner, so I can have the pleasure of meeting you all personally.
Sincerely,
Vito Maggiolo

Dear Lynch Family,
Happy New Year 2004! Another year begins without your son/brother on earth but I am sure he is smiling down at you. I can never forget the sacrifce of the rescue workers on 9/11. It will stay with me forever and I will revisit it with my children so they are never forgotten.
Take care and God Bless!

Dearest Michael,
Missing you always! Especially at Christmas! Know that your laughter is missed, your smile no less faint, your company is awaited at every event, the door is always open to our hearts, come fill them this Christmas with your love, your compassion, your humor, your sense of life but most of all with your presence. Until we meet amidst the angels who protect you...
