Mr Lynch, I graduated with Michael from Cardinal Spellman HS in 1988. I lost touch with him but I know he went on to Iona College with his good friend Kenny O'Donnell. I have spoken with other classmates and we all have the same recolections of Michael as being a wonderful, easygoing, and very funny guy. I saw you on TV the day Michael was found and it had a profound impact on me, it was the most poingant scene I remember from this entire tragedy. God bless your entire family on this anniversary, I will remember Michael with fondess forever.

Mike, Tomorrow is 9/11. I can not believe that a full year has gone by. I wonder if you have any idea how much you are missed by your family, friends and in your community. This morning, John and I realized that yesterday was one year since the last time we saw and spoke to you. You came by the house to talk to John because the two of you had a disagreement over the DJ business. Of course, you were the one to come by to settle things, that was just your way. John remembers now that you hugged each other after everything was said and done. Then you came into the kitchen and we all talked about the months to come. You were so excited about how great your life was going - you were just your typical cheery self. You were such an amazing person. You always had to make sure that everything was right, you were happy that you had a great life and even when things got a little rocky, you always made everyone smile. I thank God that you came over that day to talk to John, he would have been crushed if things were left off on a bad note. Our lives are so different now that you are no longer here. I miss what I lives were before that dreadful day. It seems that we have all changed so much. I pray to you for guidance in dealing with the things that we are all dealing with and to help me smile through the tough times. I know that you would not want us to dwell on the negative and live our lives with a positive attitude like you did. I wish you could make the hurt and sadness go away but I guess that is out of your power because I truly believe you would if you could. We love you and miss you dearly. John & Sheila

Hi, I watched your family on Fox news this afternoon. I know words cannot fill that void in your heart, but the hand of God can. I know the deep ache within you searching for the answers as to why, and I felt your pain passed along the air waves. I and the world will never forget why your loved one lost his life, and future generations will know and understand that on Sept 11 what the enemy meant for evil...God meant for good. No, not in the act, but the reaching out of others. What was meant to weaken us only made this nation stronger and your loved one will always be remembered...not as a victim, but as a hero. God Bless you and your family

hello Lynch Family, Just want to express to you my condolences. My hub is FFer as well, in Pa. I caught the tail end of your spot in Fox News. I feel that the site should be made as Memorial to all that "Passed" on that day. Of course,,I have a "soft spot" for the FFers, As I pulled the site up my 2yro stood here and yelled..."Fire Truck",,he saw your sons picture with his fire hat. I tried to explain to here what happened and she repeated all I said to her. It Broke my heart. Just want you to know you got our deepest sympathies. God Bless you!!!!! Lori Nagle

Mr. Lynch, Your words to Michael break my heart. I am so very sorry that this happened to your son and the thousands of other innocent people. For whatever comfort it may bring to you and your family, I honestly pray for all of you every single day and always will - that God will give you strength to face each day; that He will bring you comfort, hope and peace. I wear Michael's name on a bracelet to remind me of him and the bravery expressed that day by so many. He will never ever be forgotten, even by total strangers like myself. I just wanted you to know that.
